In a Special Board meeting on May 10, 2013, the Governing Board of the Children’s Board selected Kelley Parris for the position of Executive Director.

Kelley most recently served as Director of the Alabama Department of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention in Montgomery, Alabama.  Prior to that, she was Executive Director of West Alabama Mental Health Center, Inc., also in Montgomery.  Kelley holds a B.S. in Communication from the University of Alabama and a M.S. in Organizational Management from Troy University.

The Board will meet this Wednesday, May 15, at 1:00 p.m. to approve the new Executive Director contract. At that time, a start date will be announced.
