Community Conversations
The Children’s Board hosted four Community Workshops on July 12, 14, 19 and 22 using a World Café format. This process allowed attendees the opportunity to engage in a dialogue with table mates in response to a small number of questions. Participants were asked to move to new tables every 20 minutes to provide a “cross pollination” of ideas. Different questions were asked at each of the four workshops. All of the ideas from the participants were captured on flip charts which were tabulated in a spreadsheet and then summarized by “themes”. These results were narrowed down to key concepts and issues that emerged across each of the two hour workshops. The raw data (spreadsheets) are available upon request. What are posted here are the Key Concepts and Issues that emerged from each of the workshops as well as more detail organized by themes.
