  • Awareness – Educate local communities, policymakers, businesses, community leaders and other organizations about the work and worth of CSCs
  • Relationships – Build productive partnerships with individuals and organizations interested in making smart, strategic investments in Florida’s children and their families
  • Expansion – Help communities to maximize their return on investment by establishing a children’s services council in every Florida county

The FCSC is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of the member CSC executive directors and their respective CSC board chairs. Professional FCSC staff manages day-to-day administrative functions of the office on S. Monroe Street in Tallahassee, just steps from the Florida Capitol. Staff further supports the organization’s mission by implementing programs and initiatives outlined in the FCSC annual work plan.
