Out-of-School Time (OST) Programs
Early School Success (success in kindergarten through third grade) is very important for helping every child be a life-long learner. All children need help to learn at their fullest potential.
The Children’s Board works on this by making sure that there are safe places for children to come and learn after school and during the summer (Out-of-School Time).
When a child shows that he or she has learned certain skills, is happy, and knows how to learn and play with others, he or she is ready do well in school.
